Humor and Parody: Louisville Orchestra Advertises for Replacement Musicians

Recent reports from Louisville, Kentucky indicate that the unending labor crisis between the orchestra management and musicians remains at a standstill. For those unfamiliar, a wealth of background information is available at the Adaptistration site to get up to speed.

The Louisville Orchestra management continues to ratchet up its reach for replacement musicians, most recently having engaged Google and Facebook ads. This kind of advertising – if one could call it that – is presumably being done to pressure and weaken the musician’s negotiating strength.

This kind of thing is unheard of and upon deeper thought, it raises a number of questions.

One question that came to mind was, what if the Louisville Orchestra management decided to advertise its dirty laundry in other non-traditional advertising platforms?
